Congress has objected toevery reformatory step taken by the Central Govern-ment: sai

Raipur sept, 26, The Congress has objected to every reformatory step taken by the Central Government led by PrimeMinister Narendra Modi because it is closing channels of commissions and corruption, Chhattisgarh BJP President Vishnu Deo Sai said on Friday.

He said in a statement that the Swami -nathan Committee report has laid emphasis that those far -mers not selling their produce in the ‘mandi’ should not be charged ‘Mandi tax’. The Congress in its election manifesto had also promised to abolish the Mandi tax. Now when the BJP has taken the decision in favour of farmers, the Congress termsit a ‘black law’.
He said the Central Government through the three farm Bills have empowered the farmers to take a free decision on their produce. They cannot be forced to sell in the mandi. The payment from the mandi is uncertain. The farmer also has to pay the mandi tax and for transportation. Thus, he is forced to sell the produce at a lower price. The Centre has already made it clear that A P M C (mandi) will not be abol ished, he added.
