President Arpita Mahila Samiti visits NTPC Korba, and distributes sewing machines to SHG women

Korba. On 22 May 2024 C. Padmaja, President, Arpita Mahila Samiti was welcomed by Dr Rakhi Maheshwari, President, Maitri Mahila Samiti at NTPC Korba.
C. Padmaja visited Bal Bhawan of NTPC Korba along with Dr Rakhi Maheshwari and other members of Maitri Mahila Samiti. The event started with the lighting of the lamp and worshipping God Ganesha.
During the visit to Bal Bhawan, they distributed 10 dona pattal sewing machines to the self-help group of women- “Prerna”.

The Maitri Mahila Samiti also runs a welfare wing which conducts stitching classes, tuition classes and other programs. To help the learners with their course, C. Padmaja, Dr Rakhi Maheshwari and other members of Maitri Mahila Samiti distributed needle sets and stationery kits to the young learners.
Maitri Mahila Samiti of NTPC Korba has also been focused on the well-being and welfare of others.
